Defective impact glass replacement and repair is something that we see a lot of. Impact laminated glass that was manufactured 10 - 15 years ago seems to delaminate and show bubbles or cloudiness in between the layers. The glass may have been subjected to moisture or water infiltration at some point. The moisture gets in between the glass lamination layers and causes a Milky white stain . Several manufacturers used glass from Globe Amerada which seems to fail quite often. The impact glass called P380 was one of the biggest culprits of glass delamination.
